A lovely town in a wonderful corner of nature is an exclusive leisure oasis, where natural peace, cozy luxury and modern technologies fit very well. It is ‘SPA Hotel Belvilis’- a new resort on the map of Lithuania.
The name ‘a nice town’ (French belle ville) is very accurate, because it reveals the charm of this outstanding leisure centre. After having invested about 10 million Lt, there were created ideal conditions for leisure and various business events. ’Belvilis’ is one of few places out of town, where the best service is provided all year round.
In July ‘Belvilis’ hotel was awarded with a four-star category. That was the first and only such a level of assessment of a working out of town hotel in Lithuania. Besides, this hotel has been provided with an exclusive right to be called ‘SPA Hotel Belvilis’ for its exclusive quality of service and offered water procedures.
Architectural solutions of ‘Belvilis’ have been assessed highly too: this autumn, ‘Belvilis’ gained the title of the best leisure and recreation project of the year 2006 in Lithuania for architectural ideas and perfect integration of the object into nature. The project authors were awarded with a prestige prize under the name of a well-known Lithuanian architect Algimantas Zavisa.
For work and leisure
‘Belvilis’ that is located in Moletai region is one of the most modern out of town complexes in Lithuania. There can stay about 80 guests in a complex that is designed on a woody lakeside that is in a 4-hecter area. They are provided with a lot of service – from comfortable rooms, modern conference halls with the newest technologies to different water entertainment and flying by an air balloon.
‘Belvilis’ complex consists of 8 separate cottages: four of them are bigger two-storey ones (each has got 3 rooms and a small kitchen and a fireplace), 3 – smaller cottages (there are 2 rooms, a kitchen or a fireplace in them) and one extremely luxuriously furnished ‘Romantic’ cottage that e.g. is allocated to the newlyweds. All cottages have got fire places, wicker Italian furniture, thin crystal TVs, and in the ‘Romantic’ cottage there is a bath of Jacuzzi type.
The basic four-storey guest building is adapted to business needs: there is installed a 70-place conference hall with one of the first electronic boards in Lithuania, VIP negotiation room with 10-12 places, underground garage, observation terrace and 14 residential rooms.
There are created versatile water and land entertainment in ‘Belvilis“: the guest house has got an own motor launch, pedalos (water bikes), special inflatable suits for the swimming while being pulled by a motor launch, water skis, a snowmobile and bicycles. In the patio, among pines there is an outdoor stage for concerts and other events.
‘Belvilis’ restaurant that has been recognized for its fusion menu with included dishes of different world nations in it has deserved some exclusive attention. The basis of ‘Belvilis’ restaurant menu involves Italia cuisine dishes. Robertas Scesnavicius, who is one of the most solid gastronomy authorities in Lithuania and has worked in 30 various first class restaurants, has designed the restaurant menu and trained the staff.
There has been invented different untraditional service. E.g. the general application area of ‘Belvilis’ is observed with video cameras. The view is transferred via a special TV channel. That is very convenient for parents, who without leaving the room can see where their children are playing.
An elegant SPA centre
‘Belvilis’ offers the highest qualitative SPA service: for a healthy rest there is allocated a steam Turkish sauna, a sauna, a pool, Jacuzzi as well as massage, aromatherapy and other pleasant and beneficial procedures. Elegant and cozy environment has been created in ‘Belvilis’ SPA centre: there prevails a mosaic of brown interior patterns, and natural wood in saunas. However, two perfect specialists of massage and other therapy methods that make more than 10 kinds of massage, different cosmetic procedures and suggest the aromatherapy pleasure, are the supreme pride of the SPA centre.
A rare sample of quality
‘SPA Hotel Belvilis’ that works in Moletai region is one of rare examples even in the whole European context, when a hotel, present in nature, is conferred a four-star assessment (status). It was assigned by the State Tourism Department after having assessed several tens of ‘SPA Hotel Belvilis’ functioning aspects – from architectural solutions to furnishing of rooms and service quality.
According to Lina Vengriene, the director of ‘Belvilis’, before starting this project, there was a clearly defined aim in order to have an exclusive leisure complex under natural shelter. ‘A four-star rating’ is an official recognition of the quality that we have created’, said the manger of the opened ‘Belvilis’ in the year 2006.
