A modern operating leisure complex ‘SPA Hotel Belvilis’ that is in Moletai region, a half an hour from Vilnius, while preparing for summer time, has intended to invest one more million Litas into new service, guests’ rest comfort and environmental aesthetics.
„Every month more and more visitors pay a call on us, thus, naturally there arises a desire to suggest more leisure alternatives to them. It all goes to show that everything is to involve yet more steps in order to achieve the key aim: that ‘Belvilis‘ became known to everybody as a standard of qualitative rest in nature“, – claimed Lina Vengriene, the director of ‘SPA Hotel Belvilis‘.
In spring there will be mounted a tennis court in ‘Belvilis‘ that complies with global standards, where already in May there was booked the first businessmen championship. According to L.Vengriene, it will be attempted to hold tennis championships regularly. However, the most significant purpose of a new tennis court is to suggest one more active way of pastime for guests in ‘Belvilis‘. Apart from lawn tennis, it will be possible to play basketball, volleyball and football.
Besides, in surrounding forests of Labanoras park there have already been mounted five treks and bicycle ride routes for people, who prefer more active relaxation. The routes with a length, from 3 to 21 kilometers, are marked with special signs. There will be possibilities to travel while applying skis and tetra-motorcycles.
This spring ‘Belvilis’ will become the first bicycle rent centre in Moletai. No company in Moletai region has provided with such service up to now.
In spring on the expanded and cleared bank of Bebrusai lake that belongs to ‘Belvilis’ there will be constructed cabanas, guest will be offered plank-beds, there will operate one more sauna with a hot-water bowl, there will be mounted benches and after dark special chandeliers will create romantic atmosphere on the lakeside.
Last year, ‘SPA Hotel Belvilis‘ was recognized being the best year hotel in the country as a result of qualitative service, novelty and contribution to the development of Lithuanian Tourism
Image. Furthermore, in the year 2006, ‘Belvilis‘ gained a four-star assessment that was the first such rating for a hotel, operating out of town. Moreover, ‘Belvilis‘ was granted with the best leisure and recreation prize of the year 2006 in Lithuania for high level architectural decisions.
More than a year ago (last winter), opened ‘Belvilis’ has rapidly become popular in December of the year 2006. This leisure complex was visited by four times more guests than during the last month of the year 2005.
The hotel, eight separate cottages, SPA centre, conference halls and ‘fusion’ type restaurant that offers the most popular dishes from versatile global regions work in the area of 4.5 hectares approximately. In Moletai region, ‘Belvilis’ is one of minor leisure complexes those operate all year round.
In order to promote the expansion of tourism in Moletai region and develop the general level of tourism service, during the summer of the year 2006, ‘Belvilis’ was provided with a support, a bit higher than 3.1 million Litas from the structural funds of the European Union. The construction and mounting of ‘Belvilis’, which is totally 60 kilometers from Vilnius, cost about 10 million Litas. That is the largest investment into an object of such a kind in the whole Highlands.
